Nomadic Preservation Society
The Nomadic Preservation Society played a fundamental part in the initial campaign to purchase and bring SS Nomadic back to Belfast.
On hearing that the last remaining White Star Line ship was up for auction in Paris, after her seizure by the Paris Harbour Authorities, the Society swung into action, collecting pledges to meet the starting bid of 250,000 Euros.
Since the return of SS Nomadic to her home in the historic Hamilton Dock, Belfast, the Nomadic Preservation Society have been actively involved with her restoration and preservation and strive to promote Nomadic's history and heritage so that future generations can enjoy and learn from her story.
